Cucumbers for Weight Loss

Like most vegetables, cucumbers are a great food for weight loss. They are very nutrient rich and have nutrients that have tremendous cancer fighting properties. At only 14 calories per cup, they are filling and refreshing.
Cucumbers are a good source of potassium (good for high blood pressure), magnesium (good for migraines & muscle aches) and fiber. They naturally have with extra fluid needed when consuming more fiber. They are a good source of folate which is critical to heart health because it helps to keep homocysteine levels in check.
Cucumber has the additional benefit of having tryptophan which helps promote a good night’s sleep. Sweet dreams,
